Projects and Workspaces - Taskbean

Taskbean separates logical Projects from physical Workspaces. Read the glossary before automating project management.

Track a Workspace

bean track
bean track --path ../another-checkout
bean track --name "Taskbean docs"

Remove a Workspace from tracking:

bean untrack
bean untrack --path ../another-checkout

Review Projects

bean projects
bean projects --all
bean projects --hidden

Organize visibility

bean projects hide taskbean/docs
bean projects show taskbean/docs
bean projects categorize taskbean/docs --category documentation
bean projects categorize taskbean/docs --clear

Delete Project metadata

bean projects delete taskbean/docs --confirm --keep-files

--confirm is required. Add --keep-files when you only want to delete the Project database record. Without --keep-files, Taskbean also removes the Workspace’s .taskbean.json and installed Taskbean skill directories. It does not delete the checkout, worktree, or repository.
