Core settings
Speech settings control the engine, fallback, microphone, Whisper model, live model, and whether a transcript composes text or extracts tasks. Schedule settings control Do Not Disturb and recurring-reminder hours.
Themes
The CSS identifiers are
dark-roast, latte, espresso, and black-coffee. Dark Roast is the default.
Model switching
Use the model picker in Settings. A switch is locked so only one can run at a time. Taskbean unloads the current model, downloads the selected model when needed, loads it, rebuilds the agent, and runs a smoke test before reporting success. Model switching is a Settings workflow, not a chat tool.Reminders
On Windows, Taskbean can send toast notifications with Done, Snooze, and Open actions. Do Not Disturb suppresses toasts. Ifwinotify is unavailable, Taskbean logs the event instead of failing.
